In summer, the Palmer river, only 15 minutes by car, invites you to sunbath at its banks and to swim in its refreshing water. An infrastructure set up at the enchanting site of a waterfall under a antique covered bridge offers you a sandy beach and picknick tables.

A few minutes from the chalet, the Club de Chasse et Pêche de Ste-Agathe offers swimming and fishing.

The nordic winter, with its garantied share of snow, turns this place into a paradise for cross-country skiers, snowmobilers and lovers of sliding or snowshoeing. At Château la Shed you will find four pairs of snowshoes, three in extremly light magnesium, and also three tri-skies to enjoy the 600 feet long slide.

In spring you will, at the heart of the big maple sugaries, discover the ancient know-how of the boilers who make the famous maple syrup. And nothing stops you from tasting it right when it is made...
